about

For the recording of her second studio album for School of Rock-a-bye Babies, ‘Rest & Play’, Elizabeth has created a thrillingly complete album of beautiful musical tunes, that the whole family will want to play on repeat.  While ’Rest & Play’ is technically a children’s album, the songs are so fully developed and the production is so rich that it defies the genre.

’Rest & Play’ was financed by Elizabeth's successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.  Kickstarter designated her #MoreSRBB campaign a ‘Project We Love’ and it was a hit with her fan base, successfully raising £11,300 in September/October 2016.   Mobilising her thousands of fans to financially contribute to the project has enabled Elizabeth to produce this latest batch of songs to the standard it deserves.

‘Rest & Play’ is the second in a series of albums by Elizabeth A. Haydn-Jones that supports music education.  Elizabeth is recording her third and fourth albums for the series at legendary Producer/Songwriter, Paul Epworth’s (Adele, Paul McCartney, U2), Church Studios in London, UK as a direct result of her Kickstarter campaign. ’Rest & Play’ announces Elizabeth's intention to produce a program of audio/visual material for online streaming.   Her program includes 70 more songs, accompanying music videos, and teaching videos.  With plans for a TV series in the works, Elizabeth has a LOT more material on the way.

Elizabeth launched SRBB in January 2009 to fill a gap in the London, UK market in hopes of “bringing a modern Sesame Street/School House Rock/Sharon, Lois & Bram/Rafi vibe back to modern children’s music and education”.  Elizabeth maintains an oversubscribed, selective schedule of boutique classes in North London and performs live events, festivals, and parties as her schedule allows.  Since creating SRBB, Elizabeth has taught over 6000 children and developed an incredible fan base including many of London’s biggest ‘movers and shakers’.  Her first album for SRBB, School of Rock-a-bye Babies 'Volume 1’, was released in July 2010 to huge local acclaim.  The launch of ‘Rest & Play’ establishes Elizabeth as a complete musical artist globally.
